Who We Are

At Lord of New Life, we see ourselves as family, brothers and sisters in Christ, who assemble every week to hear God address us in His Word and Sacraments. 

We believe the church is not a place for the strong but for the weak. It is not a gymnasium to flex our spiritual muscles but a hospital for the sick. We learn of our sinful condition and its seriousness through God's Law and receive the only medicine for our souls, the Gospel - the blessed announcement that our sins have been forgiven through the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Gospel comes to us throughout the liturgy in the absolution of Christ spoken by the pastor, preaching, the read Word, Baptism, and in the Lord's Supper where we receive the true body and blood of Christ for the forgiveness of our sins.

Our church name, Lord of New Life Lutheran, reminds us that God in Christ is indeed the Lord of our new life; He has already accomplished everything for our salvation.  And those that receive new life in Christ are to invite others to receive the free gift of salvation and new life in His name.

And so we invite you to come and hear your need for the Savior and the good news that your sins have been forgiven in Christ.
